The Interfaith NE Ohio Earthcare Walk will be held on Sunday, October 11 in Cleveland. FaCT Ohio is one of the co-sponsors of the Walk.


The purpose of the Walk is to demonstrate interfaith support for care of the Creation--combatting pollution of air, land, and water and support of sustainable living practices.The Walk will begin at RID-ALL Green Partnership, 2905 E. 81st Street and proceed for 2.2 miles to Cornucopia Farmers Market on Kinsman, then loop back to RID-ALL for brief concluding program, fellowship and refreshments. The route includes one or two somewhat busy crosswalks. All are welcome. Bring water, comfortable shoes, sunscreen, and an open heart.


Besides FaCT Ohio, other co-sponsors of this event include Catholic Charities–Diocesan Social Action Office; UCC Climate Hope Affiliates; Heartland Conference-UCC Earth Stewardship Action Network; Presbytery of the Western Reserve Eastern Ohio Conference-United Methodist Church; Environmental Health Watch; NE Ohio Community Resilience Council; Community Life Collaborative; East Side Creation Care Alliance; West Side Creation Care Team and the following individual congregations: Fairmount Presbyterian Church, Pilgrim Congregational, and Zion UCC.
