Tiny Solar Panels Can Bring Major Changes

According to reporting in the New York Times by Robinson Meyer, a
new plug-in solar technology supporting renewable energy is
making its debut in the U.S. This technology is already popular in
Germany where you can buy a plug-in solar kit for $600. It’s a small
solar panel system, often producing up to 1,200 watts of electricity.

You can fix this system to a wall, hang on a balcony, or set up in a garden.
Then you plug it into a wall socket. With the assistance of a micro inverter,
it pumps electricity directly into your household circuits.
While this will not be the cure-all fix to firmly establish solar power, it will
help advance solar power use by a wider group of users.
